1. Grant of license
Subject to an active certification and continuing compliance with the Certification Agreement, Transaction Veritas grants the certified organization a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to display the applicable badge assets solely to communicate an active certification awarded by Transaction Veritas.
2. Permitted uses
- The badge may be displayed on the certified organization's website, proposal materials, programme deck, press kit, social media, and email signature.
- The badge may be resized proportionally for responsive or print use provided the approved text, colors, and proportions remain intact.
- The badge may be accompanied by factual text identifying the certification type, certification level, and active verification URL.
3. Restrictions
- The badge may not be altered, redrawn, recolored beyond approved variants, animated in a misleading way, cropped to remove key text, or combined with another certification mark in a confusing manner.
- The badge may not imply that founders, portfolio companies, mentors, investment products, or affiliated entities are themselves certified unless separately awarded certification.
- The badge may not be used in a false, exaggerated, expired, suspended, or revoked manner.
- The badge may not be sold, licensed onward, or transferred to another entity.
4. Verification link and display rules
- Where technically feasible, the badge must link directly to the official Transaction Veritas verification page for the certified organization.
- The verification page should display at minimum the organization name, certification type, level, certification ID, award date, next review date, and current status.
- If a live hyperlink is not feasible, the organization must display the verification URL near the badge or include it in adjacent certification text.
5. Status changes, expiry, suspension, and revocation
- Badge rights remain valid only during the active certification period.
- Upon suspension, expiry, withdrawal, or revocation, the organization must cease all public use of the badge within the period stated by Transaction Veritas.
- Upon request, the organization must provide evidence that public-facing badge uses have been removed or corrected.
- Transaction Veritas may replace badge assets upon renewal or level change, and the organization must transition to the updated assets within the stated implementation window.
6. Enforcement and misuse
Transaction Veritas may monitor badge use and may require correction, removal, suspension, or public clarification where use of the badge is inaccurate or misleading.
- Misuse may lead to takedown demands, badge suspension, certification review, or withdrawal of certification.
- Nothing in this license limits Transaction Veritas from publicly stating the current certification status of an organization.
7. Badge concepts and exact issuance text
The following SVG assets are included as production-ready concepts for public badge issuance. Each carries the exact certification family and level text.
IncubatorTrust
Transaction Veritas Certified Incubator
The baseline IncubatorTrust badge confirms that an incubator has met the required Transaction Veritas standard for founder-safe operations. It signals that the incubator maintains documented governance, founder admissions controls, onboarding checks, workspace or resource controls, mentor expectations, confidentiality safeguards, and complaint-handling processes.
This level is designed for incubators that have moved beyond informal practices and can show evidence that essential controls are active. It is the first public trust tier and the minimum level required to advertise Transaction Veritas certification.
IncubatorTrust
Transaction Veritas Certified Incubator Plus
Certified Plus is awarded to incubators that demonstrate stronger operating maturity than the baseline certification. In addition to meeting the core standard, the incubator shows more consistent evidence quality, clearer ownership of controls, better issue tracking, stronger partner oversight, and more reliable documentation across admissions, resource allocation, mentor governance, and founder protection.
This tier is higher than Certified because it reflects not only that controls exist, but that they are applied consistently and can be reviewed across multiple samples, cohorts, residents, or operating periods.
IncubatorTrust
Transaction Veritas Certified Incubator Elite
Certified Elite is the highest IncubatorTrust tier. It is reserved for incubators that show advanced governance, mature founder safeguarding, strong audit readiness, proactive monitoring, documented remediation, and a culture of continuous improvement. Elite incubators do not merely comply with the standard; they operate with evidence discipline that can stand up to funder, sponsor, university, or public-sector scrutiny.
This tier is higher than Certified Plus because it reflects a mature and monitored operating system, not just strong documentation. It signals that trust controls are embedded into leadership review, resident lifecycle management, incident handling, and ongoing programme improvement.
AcceleratorTrust
Transaction Veritas Certified Accelerator
The baseline AcceleratorTrust badge confirms that an accelerator has met the required Transaction Veritas standard for high-integrity cohort operations. It signals that the accelerator maintains documented controls for selection fairness, founder onboarding, startup verification, standard deal governance, mentor conduct, Demo Day review, investor communications, and founder data protection.
This level is designed for accelerators that can prove the core cohort lifecycle is governed and reviewable. It is the first public trust tier and the minimum level required to advertise Transaction Veritas accelerator certification.
AcceleratorTrust
Transaction Veritas Certified Accelerator Plus
Certified Plus is awarded to accelerators that show stronger maturity than the baseline certification. In addition to meeting the core standard, the accelerator demonstrates better evidence quality, more consistent cohort selection records, stronger document governance, clearer payment or investment workflows, stronger mentor conflict controls, and more disciplined Demo Day and investor-facing processes.
This tier is higher than Certified because it confirms the accelerator is not only operating with required controls, but applying those controls consistently across programme cycles, founder files, investor interactions, and public communications.
AcceleratorTrust
Transaction Veritas Certified Accelerator Elite
Certified Elite is the highest AcceleratorTrust tier. It is reserved for accelerators that show advanced cohort integrity, mature investment or funding governance, strong claim substantiation, robust Demo Day controls, proactive sponsor oversight, structured remediation, and recurring post-cohort review. Elite accelerators can demonstrate that founder and investor trust is built into the operating model, not added at the end.
This tier is higher than Certified Plus because it reflects a monitored and continuously improving accelerator governance system. It signals that selection, deal documentation, Demo Day exposure, investor communications, and sponsor access are governed with a level of discipline suitable for serious founders, LPs, partners, and institutional ecosystem stakeholders.
