How Tamper-Evidence Works
① Every Action Hashed
Each audit entry — including actor, timestamp, action, and entity — is hashed using SHA-256. The hash is stored with the record.
② Chain of Hashes
Each entry's hash includes the previous entry's hash, creating a cryptographic chain. Altering any record breaks every subsequent link.
③ Nightly Verification
TransactionVeritas re-verifies the entire chain nightly. Any tampering triggers an immediate alert to platform administrators and affected users.
